KLIC! - National launch - please click here
During 2004, The Who Cares? Trust produced 4 issues of KLiC! magazine for all children looked after in London aged 8-12, generously funded by The Bridge House Trust (www.bridgehousegrants.org.uk). This London pilot of a magazine for looked after children and young people in the younger age group was such a success that we have produced KLiC! as a national publication - November 2005.

Quotations in support of KLiC!:
“The Association of Directors of Social Services (ADSS) recommends that each child looked after aged 8 to 12 should have their own personal copy of KLiC!” – ADSS
“It explains a lot about foster care” – 9 year old girl in foster care
“Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Social Workers, Carers – all thought the magazine was great” – Local Authority Social Care and Health Manager
“We find it helpful for opening dialogue about care matters with younger foster children” – Independent Foster Agency
This magazine provides a means for communication between children in care at this transitional age, enabling them to have a common ground on which to share their feelings and concerns with others in similar situations. KLiC! is a companion publication to the award winning Who Cares? magazine which is published quarterly for young people aged 13+ in care.
