KLiC! NATIONAL LAUNCH FUNDAY ROADSHOW

The Who Cares? Trust held a day of fun and entertainment to celebrate the success of the London pilot of KLiC!, our new magazine for looked after children aged 8-12, and to launch the magazine nationwide.

The roadshow took place at London Zoo, Regents Park on 26 October 2005 and was a day of learning and fun for upwards of 60 looked after children from across London.

The day consisted of three workshops; Circus Skills, Cartoon Art and Fire Safety. The workshops were educational as well as inspirational. There was entertainment and a special guest appearance. There was also a prize giving session at the end of the day where children were given certificates and goodie bags to congratulate and thank them for their input into the day.

We are all grateful to The Bridge House Trust and to all of our Friends for their support towards the London pilot of KLiC! in 2004 and towards this launch event.
