"As a journalist, I judge Who Cares? the best magazine I know - linking those in care with those who have experienced it. In a most neglected field, Who Cares? has shone 10 years of productive light into very important lives."

Jon Snow, Honorary President.

Who Cares? is a quarterly magazine for young people in care. Each year it offers a voice to, and a creative outlet for, many children in care as well as providing support and information on issues that directly affect their lives.

Featuring everything from new legislation (such as the White Paper and children’s rights) and current issues (such as environment, education and the arts) to problem pages, young people’s poetry, inspirational stories from successful care leavers to fantastic competitions – Who Cares? has got it covered.

Young people from all over the country take an active role in each magazine through interviews, letters, poems, reviews and competitions.

"Who Cares? magazines continue to go from strength to strength. I know that many children and young people are benefiting from their invaluable information and support."

Jo Williams, former President of the ADSS

KLiC! (a name chosen by the children: Kids Living in Care) is a quarterly magazine for children in care aged 8-13. It covers the same range of issues as Who Cares?, but in a language and format more in tune with a younger audience. KLiC! not only explains many of the issues faced by younger children in care, but is also packed full of fun things such as jokes, comic strips and great competitions.

“It explains a lot about foster care.”
