What are festivals and celebrations like for children in care?

There are around 86,000 children in the UK care system at any one time and most of them will be living away from their birth families during important festivals and celebrations such as Christmas or Eid.
The Who Cares? Trust wants to find out what Christmas and other significant occasions are like for children in care and care leavers, and what could be done to make things better.
Please help us!
We have created a short survey which we need children in care and care leavers to fill in. The survey is quick and easy to complete, and we will respect the confidentiality of all young people who respond.
Please pass on the survey link ( https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/celebrationsincare ) to the young people you work with and encourage them to fill it in. The survey will close on 30 November 2011.
We know that filling in a survey may not sound like the most exciting prospect, so as an incentive all respondents who provide an email address will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 worth of Argos vouchers!
