Helping children in care to thrive

Eastenders, Devlin and Horrible Science in the Winter issue of Who Cares? magazine

9 December 2011

For the past twenty five years Who Cares? magazine has covered the issues about care which the young people tell us matter most to them, in a down-to-earth, accessible style. It helps young people understand the care system they’re part of and encourages them to make the most of the opportunities available to them. The topics we cover matter to young people and meet the legal duties of local authorities.

The Winter 2011 issue of Who Cares? magazine is packed full of top tips and advice about staying safe and healthy.

What's inside?

  • An exclusive interview with Eastender's star Shona McGarty, AKA Whitney Dean, about her sexual exploitation storyline
  • The news you need to know from the world of care
  • Weird and wonderful science pullout from the makers of Horrible Science
  • Good friend guide - top tips on making, and keeping friends
  • Health quiz - are you health wealthy?
  • We talk politics, tea and telly with rapper Devlin
