Freemasons support young people in care by donating £30,000 to the Who Cares? Trust

7 December 2011

£30,000 has been donated to the Who Cares? Trust by The Freemasons’ Grand Charity, to fund a Projects Officer post.

Speaking about the donation, Laura Chapman, Chief Executive of the Grand Charity said: “The Who Cares? Trust provides much needed assistance for children who do not receive much support elsewhere. Freemasons are therefore very glad to be able to help these young people, assisting them to achieve their potential and get the most out of life.”

The Major Grants Scheme is just one of the initiatives driven by The Freemasons’ Grand Charity which donates millions of pounds to national charities every year.
