What is 'suitable accommodation' for care leavers?

The Associate Parliamentary Group for Looked After Children and Care Leavers met last week to discuss the government's proposed changes to what is considered ‘suitable accommodation’ for care leavers.
The National Care Advisory Service (NCAS) have put together a quick survey (designed for young people) to find out what they think is suitable accommodation for care leavers. It only takes a short time to complete and is completely anonymous. Take part in the survey.
We need to feedback to government very soon so the deadline for responses is Monday 15 February 2010.
The government are currently consulting on all the responsibilities that local authorities have for care leavers. Visit the consultation website.
