Day 1: Fly London - Beijing.
Day 2: Arrive Beijing and transfer to hotel. Free time to relax before the challenge.
Day 3: Set off from Trout Valley where we see our first views of the wall. 4 hours.
Day 4: Hike along a picturesque valley into the Black Dragon Paw Park and reach the tallest tower in the section to take in the views. 6-7 hours.
Day 5: Trek along an unrestored section dating back to the Ming Dynasty. 5-6 hours.
Day 6: 14 watchtowers before lunch! we tackle some steep steps and cross a suspension bridge before reaching the final watchtower. 6-7 hours.
Day 7: A sunrise walk with more than 1200 steps before reaching the finish line. Transfer back to Beijing. 4 hours.
Day 8: Free time in Beijing to explore.
Day 9: Fly Beijing - London.
The intitial registration fee is £250 and then we ask participants to raise a minimum of £2,600 in sponsorship. We take care of the all the arrangements and flights, accommodation, transfers and full support is included. Don't worry if you've not raised sponsorship before. We'll be there to support you and you'll receive a full fundraising pack to help you. It can seem daunting but once you get started it's amazing what you can achieve!
Airport taxes, personal travel insurance, meals on free days, gratuities and spending money.
We welcome trekkers of all levels of fitness and you will be able to go at your own pace. However, you should be willing to put in plenty of training to help meet the challenge. We'll provide you with training tips to help you on your way.
