This long weekend trek takes you up to 2120m and through some of Europe's most dramatic scenery. The Chamonix valley is dominated by the white dome of Mont Blanc. During the trek you will experience breathtaking scenery as the coming together of several glaciers has produced some the most spectacular glacial structures, with deep crevasses and towering seracs.
Day 1: Fly London - Geneva. Transfer to Chamonix.
Day 2: We take a cable car to Bellevue to start our alpine trek at 1800m. Trek to 2120 with stunning views over Aiguille du Bionnassay. 6 hours.
Day 3: Trek up the Mont Joie Valley through fording streams to the Italian border where we overnight. 9 hours.
Day 4: Trek to the Col de la Seigne where Mont Blanc will dominate the skyline with a myriad of glaciers and towering rocky peaks. 6 hours.
Day 5: Free time in the morning and then fly Geneva - London.
The initial registration fee is £200 and we ask you to raise £1,400 in sponsorship. All your flights, transfers, accommodation, meals (except lunch on day 5) and full support from experienced guides is included and we make all the arrangements. Don't worry if you've not raised sponsorship before. We'll be there to support you and you'll receive a full fundraising pack to help you. It can seem daunting but raising money can be really fun and once you get started it's amazing what you can achieve.
Airport taxes, personal travel insurance, lunch on the final day, gratuities and spending money.
The event is aimed at people of average fitness and we welcome all trekkers. You will be able to go at your own pace, however, you should be willing to put in plenty of training to help you complete the challenge. We'll provide you with training tips to help you on your way.
If you're interested in the trek and would like to find out more just register your interest through the form below and we'll send you everything you need to know including details of how to sign up.
