Generous grant received from Newman's Own Foundation

7 May 2010

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we received a $25,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation to support our work with children in care.

The grant was announced by Bob Forrester, president of Newman’s Own Foundation at a ceremony on Wednesday 5 May. Talking about the grant, Mr Forrester said: “Paul Newman summed up his philosophy about giving in a simple statement: ‘What could be better than to hold out your hand to those less fortunate than you, or in any way use your good fortune to help make our world a better place?’ Newman’s Own Foundation is pleased to be able to partner with The Who Cares? Trust and support its program.”
