Biking for Children in Care is organised by a group of dedicated supporters who every year take on a new cycling challenge. The event continues to go from strength to strength and has raised over £350,000 in recent years for our work supporting children in care. An amazing £40,000 was raised from last year's Loire Valley cycle ride to support a project to improve the literacy skills of children in care.
This year's cycle will take on the wild north country, cycling between Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish border and along the banks of the stunning Kielder Water and Kielder National Forest.
This 200-mile cycle takes place over a long weekend Thursday 24th to Monday 28th June 2010.
We would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the event - especially the organisers who put on such a great event every year and raise such a fantastic amount of money which makes a huge difference to our work.
If you would like to take part or get involved in Biking for Children in Care please contact Lucy Conoboy on 020 7017 2789 or complete our online enquiry form.
