Further education is a great opportunity to study subjects you really enjoy, meet lots of new and interesting people and bag some more qualifications along the way. It's no secret that more qualifications give you a wider choice of careers.

Being in care shouldn't prevent you from achieving your ambitions and going on to further education. What's more, there's loads of support out there for you if you want it. Your local authority has to support you financially, practically and emotionally in your education right up to university.

 

 

Further education sounds good - but what?!

There are loads of different things you can do! Have a think about what subjects you find interesting and enjoyable and what job you might like to do in the future. Now have a look at all of these different qualifications:
