Tomatoes are in loads of things - they're used in ketchup sauce, tomato purée, salad dishes, soup, bolognaise sauce and many other tasty dishes. They can be quite expensive but it's really easy to grow your own. And they might even taste better than shop bought ones. You can grow around 20 tomatoes from a £2 packet of tomato seeds and get more, year after year! If you want the easiest way, you can even buy a tomato plant that haa already flowered for a few pounds.
