I want to change my life

Dear Suzie,

I'm in prison and my family don't want me. I am always upset because my family don't come and see me. I'm getting out of prison soon and I want to change my life, but I don't know what I should do.

The support you get when you leave prison depends on your age, but you will have a probation officer who will help. Before you come out, try to think what you might like to do. What training or job would interest you? Take every opportunity for training or further education and don't worry - you will get help. I'm sorry that your family aren't there for you. Write to them and say how you feel and try to make direct contact with them when you come out. It's great that you want to change your life around. Good luck!
