Magnificent meat stew

You will need:Magnificent meat stew

  • Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots/ parsnips
  • 2 large potatoes or sweet potatoes
  • 450g minced/ diced beef or lamb
  • Beef or vegetable stock cubes
  • Half a litre of water
  • Tablespoon tomato puree
  • Half a litre of water

 

 

What to do:

 

1. Cut potatoes and carrots/ parsnips into chunks

2. Crush the garlic

3. Fry the onion gently in the olive oil for a few minutes until soft.

4. Turn the heat up and add the meat. When it’s browned lightly on all sides.

5. Add the garlic for two minutes.

6. Then add your vegetables, made up stock, tomato puree and water.

7. Season with salt and pepper.

8. Put in the oven at 190C for one hour.
