There are mass participation runs of varying distances taking place across the country practically every weekend. Taking part can be an excellent way to get fit, see the country and of course raise money for children in care.

Reading hosts one of the countries top half marathons with 11,000 runners finishing in the Madejski stadium, home to Reading FC and London Irish RFC. Places will become available later in 2010 so watch this space for information on signing up.
