When do review meetings happen?

The first review must happen within 20 working days of the date from which you first became looked after.

A second review will happen three months later, and then there will be reviews every six months.

A review might happen sooner than that if your IRO thinks it should, or if your social worker thinks the placement is not working for you, or if other major changes need to be made to your care plan.

You or your parents can also ask for a review at any time and your request should be considered seriously.
