Helping children in care to thrive

Who Cares? Town Central Library

Who Cares? Town Central LibraryWho Cares? Town is our website for young people in and from care. Users can explore the town’s interactive buildings including a job centre, café, food market, local authority, school and library.

The site provides accessible tools and resources, including a CV builder and a career matching exercise, alongside games, quizzes and videos.

It's also a hub for entertainment, support and advice; the site features lots of true stories about young people with care experience, creating a strong sense of community and inclusion.

Word Power funding allowed us to open the library in Who Cares? Town.

The library includes:

  • Book reviews written by young people in care
  • Information about staying safe online
  • Young people's poems
  • Advice about how to start a blog and links to some of the best
  • Links to videos and music about life in care
